Sellix was one of the best-known storefront platforms for digital goods. It no longer works. If you had a store there, this page covers what is publicly known, what you can recover, and how to set up again without depending on any one platform holding your sales.
What happened to Sellix?
On January 30, 2025, the US Department of Justice announced an international operation against the Cracked and Nulled marketplaces. Its release says the FBI identified servers and domain names of Cracked’s payment processor, Sellix, and that they were seized under domestic and international legal process. Germany’s federal police (BKA) published its own release on the same operation, called Operation Talent. Both are linked under Sources.
As of October 31, 2026, sellix.io and its help and docs sites don’t load. We haven’t found an announcement from Sellix itself about a return, balances or data. Anything beyond the official releases is speculation, and we won’t add to it.
What you can still recover
The platform’s API is offline, so your data now lives only in what you exported earlier. Check your downloads for Sellix exports of products, serials, customers, coupons and invoices (CSV or JSON). ShopFast’s import reads these files directly, and accepts an API key too in case yours still answers.
What can’t be recovered from exports: payment balances held on the platform, your custom domain’s settings (you’ll point the domain again yourself), and files buyers downloaded (upload them again to the new product).
What a replacement should do differently
The lesson most sellers took from Sellix is not to let one platform hold everything. When you choose where to rebuild:
- Get paid into accounts you own. On ShopFast you connect your own Stripe, PayPal, Square or crypto wallet, and the money goes straight to you. ShopFast takes no fee on those payments.
- Keep your customer list. Your buyers, their orders and their marketing consent stay exportable and in your hands.
- Automate delivery of everything you sell. Keys with durations, files, Discord roles and Telegram access, delivered the moment a payment confirms.
- Know the rules up front. Read what a platform doesn’t allow before you move, not after your first payout.
What comes across from your Sellix exports
| In your Sellix export | In ShopFast |
|---|---|
| Products, including one product per duration (“… - 7 Days”) | One product with options: 1 Day, 7 Days, 30 Days, Lifetime |
| Serials and other text stock | Keys in each option’s pool, sealed on arrival; sold keys skipped |
| Customers | Customers, with marketing consent kept as it was |
| Coupons | Discount codes with their limits and expiry |
| Invoices (paid) | Order history for analytics and customer profiles; nothing is charged or delivered again |
The full mapping is in the switching guide. You see every change before it’s written, the import runs in the background, and one click undoes it.
What ShopFast doesn’t allow
ShopFast is built for legitimate digital products: software and license keys, game keys from authorized sources, files, memberships and community access. It doesn’t accept stores selling cracked, leaked or “nulled” software, key generators, stolen or hacked accounts, game cheats or anti-cheat bypasses, credential-stuffing tools, or accounts for services that forbid transfers. The Acceptable Use Policy has the full list. If your Sellix store sold any of these, ShopFast isn’t the right home for it.
Setting up again on ShopFast
Once your products are in, connect how you get paid in Money → Payments: your own gateway or crypto straight to your wallet. Turn on Fraud Shield’s rules, run a test sale, and post an update to owners from Catalog → Updates so buyers from your Sellix history hear where you’ve moved. If you also sold through Discord, connect your server so roles are granted on purchase again (selling Discord roles).
Step by step
1. Find your Sellix exports
Look for the CSV or JSON files you exported from Sellix: products, serials, customers, coupons and invoices. The import reads them as they are.
2. Open the import
In ShopFast, open Settings → Import → Move your store, pick Sellix and drop in the files. If your old API key still answers, you can paste it instead.
3. Check what comes over
ShopFast compares everything with your store and writes nothing yet: new products, unsold keys, customers and anything to fix.
4. Import
Press Import. Unsold serials arrive sealed in each option's pool and sold ones are skipped. Undo this import removes everything it added.
5. Connect payments and tell your buyers
Connect your own gateway or crypto wallet, then post an update to owners so buyers from your Sellix history know where you are now.
Questions sellers ask
Is Sellix coming back?
Nobody outside the investigation can say. As of October 31, 2026, sellix.io does not load, and the US Justice Department describes its servers and domains as seized. Don't send money or data to sites claiming to be Sellix.
Can I still export my data from Sellix?
Probably not, because the site and its API are offline. If you exported your products, serials, customers or invoices before, ShopFast's import reads those files. Without them there's nothing to import from.
Will my imported Sellix serials be sold twice?
No. Only unsold serials come across, sealed in each option's key pool, and keys marked sold or used are skipped. Each key is then handed out once.
Can buyers from my Sellix store hear about my new store?
Yes. Imported paid orders count as ownership, so an update you post to owners reaches buyers from your Sellix history by email, as long as they haven't unsubscribed.
Does ShopFast allow everything Sellix stores used to sell?
No. ShopFast doesn't allow cracked or leaked software, stolen or hacked accounts, game cheats, credential tools or accounts whose service forbids transfers. Stores selling those aren't accepted.
