# Billgang alternative: Billgang is offline, here's how to move

> billgang.com now shows a law-enforcement seizure notice naming a coordinated action against Antistock, Billgang, Forebit, Hoodpay and Sellpass, so the platform can't be used. If you sold legitimate digital products there, ShopFast can import your Billgang export files (products, stock, customers, coupons and orders) and run your store on payment accounts you own.

Billgang ran storefronts for digital goods, including Discord role delivery and serials. It can't be used now. This
page sets out what is publicly visible, what you can bring with you, and how to set up again.

## What happened to Billgang?

As of October 31, 2026, billgang.com and its documentation, support and developer sites all show the same image: a
notice that the site **has been seized** as part of a coordinated law-enforcement action against Antistock, Billgang,
Forebit, Hoodpay and Sellpass. The notice names the FBI and Germany's Federal Criminal Police Office among the agencies
involved. You can see it on billgang.com itself (linked under Sources).

We found no press release from the agencies naming Billgang, and nothing from Billgang. Reports elsewhere disagree on
dates and causes, so we leave them out. Sellpass, named on the same notice, has its own page:

## What you can bring with you

Everything comes from files you exported before the shutdown: **products, stock, customers, coupons and orders**, as
CSV or JSON. ShopFast's import ([switching guide](https://shopfa.st/docs/guides/switching)) reads them in **Settings → Import → Move your
store**:

- products with images and options, durations combined into one product with 1 Day, 7 Days, 30 Days and Lifetime options;
- unsold stock as keys, sealed in each option's pool (sold items are skipped);
- customers with their marketing consent, and balances as store credit;
- coupons, categories, checkout questions and your blacklist as Fraud Shield lists;
- paid orders as history, so buyers you sold to can hear about updates.

Payment settings, your custom domain and files for download don't move by themselves; the import lists them with what
to set up instead.

## First things to set up in your new store

1. **Payments into your own accounts.** Connect Stripe, PayPal, Square or crypto to your own wallet in Money → Payments.
   ShopFast takes no fee on those payments. Compare them in [payment methods for digital products](/payments).
2. **Discord.** Connect your server so products grant roles again, and add the bot's /buy and /redeem commands
   ([selling Discord roles](/sell/discord-roles)).
3. **Fraud rules.** Your old blacklist arrives as Fraud Shield lists; add order limits for first card orders
   ([preventing chargebacks](/guides/prevent-chargebacks)).
4. **A test sale**, then an update to owners from Catalog → Updates to say where you've moved.

## What ShopFast doesn't allow

ShopFast accepts legitimate digital products only. Stolen, hacked or leaked accounts and keys, cracked software, game
cheats and spoofers, credential tools and accounts whose service forbids transfers are not allowed
([Acceptable Use Policy](https://shopfa.st/legal/acceptable-use)). Stores built on those won't be accepted, wherever they come from.

## Questions sellers ask

### Why is Billgang down?

billgang.com and its docs and support sites show a seizure notice from US and German law enforcement, which names Billgang among several platforms. We found no official press release about Billgang itself as of October 31, 2026, so we don't know more than the notice says.

### Can I get my Billgang data back?

Only from exports you saved earlier, since the dashboard is offline. ShopFast's import reads Billgang's product, stock, customer, coupon and order exports, and tries the API in case it still answers.

### Will my Discord roles work again after moving?

Yes, once you connect your Discord server in ShopFast and pick the role each product grants. Buyers then get the role on payment and lose it on a refund or when a membership ends.

### Is my Billgang balance recoverable through ShopFast?

No. ShopFast has no access to Billgang's systems or balances. Only what is in your own export files can be imported.
